Rx-6 Thunderhorse

So I present you guys my unicorn gundam modified into the rx-6 Thunderhorse I got the name from a song in guitar hero lolol here it is

and then searched the net for the thunder horse I came to a mythical creature created by wizards for knights to ride in sky battles. well I found out that there are a bit of pictures for a thunderhorse reference so I thought of what the sky looks like when there is a storm brewing
so its dark blue and lightning is white? (but I prefer to make it yellow) but anyway I made the frame white :) so thats where I got the scheme. Now for the additional parts the big booster because of the concept thunder horse the horse had wings to fly with now I just noticed that the unicorns back pack is very simple so I made a big thrusters and 2 pairs of mounted bfgs that also turn into destroy mode when the main unit transforms.

for the bfg I dunno it just came to me and I wanted to build one hehe
most of the sb parts has lego parts inside it so there could be equality (haha Im lazy to measure things) and also made the dio out by scratchbuilding everything in it I admit it is not orginal as I copied the diorama of kenny lim's trinity well there are some days I wished I made an original concept..but anyway Im happy because I was able to do this :)

and now without further ado here is my rx-6 thunderhorse I got consolation prize at GBWC2011
I think I want to pass for the year 2012 for some reason though..

GBWC is fast approaching! :D

Well guys its almost less than two months before we approach GBWC its quite different since we are used to BAKUC hehe most of us
still consider that its bakuc :D hmm maybe because of we are used to it. We have a lot of amazing wips from MAC, GMAC, MP, PG and other Philippine based forums groups and other else. I must admit Im feeling the pressure now! haha never felt this before because by these times I should be finished with everything
my wip took me about a year to finish hehe I wont be posting anything soon(??????????????) you might see something from me but
not here in my blog now Im finishing the dio hope it stands out and for me this is a new milestone as I did not use the usual illustration boards!

anyway goodluck guys! I got fired up upon seeing this pic :) hope this year will end with a bang! as I know all of us are improving
in terms of skills when it comes to gunpla

hehe only one picture I dont want to show all what Ive done so far because I want to have some surprise when GBWC arrives ;) at last after 2 weeks of putting my painting skills to the test haha here is a sneak peek :D well there are quite some re touches and darn sometimes I scratch some parts but anyway was able to fix them :)

Thunder Horse:
As the armies of the Western Empire was about to close on an Elven village ahead of them. A roar of Thunder off in the distance could be heard and flashes of lighting could be seen.
Out of the cloud of dust that was following emerged a group of twenty riders clad in armor and riding horses that look like demons from hell itself as lighting bolts were emerging from their hooves every time their hooves hit the ground.
As the riders came closer lighting bolts shoot out of their eyes. As the archers of the western empire shoot arrows at the approaching party a wall of electricity appeared to block the riders from any harm that was heading their way.
The wizards on the other side try using magic against them by summoning demons to attack the riders
but when the demons try to scare and attack them this only made the mounts even madder cause this mounts were magically engineered for fighting and as part of their alterations anything that normally scares most people or animals only
causes the beast aggressive nature to become more aggressive and attack what ever it is that cause the problem.
As the battle continued on the western empire soldiers that were left learned why the mounts were called what they were.

The Thunder Horses were a magically engineered byproduct of the great war tens of thousands of years ago. This war was fought between the various races of the Palladium World against the Old Ones.
The Thunder Horse are considered by many to not really be horses. They are magical creatures similar in nature to the Unicorn, Pegasus, and Dragondactyl.
It was thought that the Thunder Horses had gone extinct but they have been just recently discovered roaming the forest and plains in what had been the Old Kingdom and in the Land of the South Winds.
These horses are very intelligent and very aggressive.
The are also very hard to trained and raise but once they bond to their owners they are very loyal. The new Elven kingdom are the only ones with a large numbers of these horses.

RX-6 Uni Thunderhorse

Hello! Presenting my Uni Thunderhorse I named it the thunderhorse since I really felt like making a golden and blue color scheme for this as the mad skies are filled with terror of the thunder as a storm brews in. Ill make a plot or story for this guy along with KREZ' unicorn as he is my buildoff team mate for this kit hehe 

I started of  with the head, unfortunately the first attempt failed because the spray paint was not shaked well (remember bros to always shake thme well before painting to avoid paint being blobby and ugly)

also I placed decals at unseen areas when the head transforms into destroy mode but thats okay :)  

 here is the back view well havent paitned the arms yet as I ran out of primer (primer is indeed a must when it comes to painting a kit as it will give the main coat bonding strength with the main plastic that its going to be sprayed onto) did not bother to detail the back torso as it will not be seen with a huge backpack XD

 haha you hope I can finish this as soon as possible this is the first time I gave so much time painting the parts one by one and its per day as I want the paint to fully dry and avoid fingerprints while assembling the kit (it requires a lot of patience hehe well its a hobby anyway)

 I love the gold I used as it really stands out and contrast with the color of the outer main armor which is dark blue hope I can finish this soon before november becuase you know that november is GBWC time and its a must to enter that competition. :D

Beaten up sinanju part II

Good day to everyone! today I have updated my beaten up sinanju by adding more damage into it and more disrespect(?) haha yeah kinda kills me to do this to such an expensive kit, others noticed that Im so brave and stuff but haha I got it for free so there is no worry..well not really haha I dont own a sinanju yet (maybe soon I will (AND THERE IS NO WAY IM GONNA DO THIS TO MY SINANJU) xD 

 I added wires which I got from dad hehe he gave it to me since its all junk and also added some lead wires to enchance the details I dont have shadowings yet as I dont have the proper tools to deal with it but its a must :)

 I must think that the damage is realistic and so as the left leg was chopped the left rear skirt must also be melted too. :) Im gonna SB (scratch build) a horn for this and paint it of course hehe and then later damage it

 more details errr hope you can see it XD

Beaten up sinanju

I received this sinanju from amir just yesterday from the MAC ANNIVERSARY (we are 1 year old! yey! XD) anyway I was supposed to pay for this haha but amir gave it away for free so Im happy and thankful though I forgot to give him the joints he requested argh my bad..anyway this sinanju will be part of my dio with my unicorn :) most of you guys must already know about my unicorn Ill be posting it soon, here are some pics :) 

 Today I only assembled it as it was pure scrap XD glad I was able to make it look like a highly crapped up mobile suit and not a mobile suit from the junkyard :) hehe now Im off to read about stuff on how to weather this up because melting parts wont be enough to satisfy the eye of the people in ways of damaging stuff :)

I just did this recently as I wanted to improve my masking and test new type of colors for my wip which is the thunderhorse :) this is also my midyear entry for the bankee mid year contest held at sm megamall hehe I didnt win but it was worth it along the kit comes great effort and gunpla love was given as it is my first sangokuden kit

by the way this kit is only spray painted haha kinda failed on that part as it was supposed to be handpainted with those such small details anyway I enjoyed building it the wip lasted for 3 days hehe!

Destiny Gundam-Apocalypse

As promised from my previous post I will now show my destiny it was originally meant to be a nightingale like concept but found out I lack the skills to do it so I just did what I can the touch of sazabi can only be seen on the feet hehe well thats what I think it is (hope I get better in this matter) here are some pics 

to be honest at this parts of my builds I never bothered to top coat them so after a while or so they become looking old and so but now they have flat coats to protect it hehe hope I didnt waste your click!
